RUG AND KILIM MOTIFS
Oriental rugs and kilims have always had specific symbols, or motifs. These motifs differ based on the region, materials used and most importantly the weaver. The uniqueness of the oriental rug comes from the personal touches of the weaver. Rugs and kilims have been passed from generation to another. This is why the stories are told via these motifs, which have been used since the first rug was woven in Turkey.
